Main Street Funds
Who We Are:
Main Street Funds (“MSF”) is a Burlington, Vermont based fund that provides financing and financial management for residential and commercial real estate acquisition and development. MSF is owned by John Hoehl, an experienced developer and investor. Investments are sourced and managed by a committee comprised of John Hoehl, Bruce Baker, and Scott Anderson.
What We Do:
MSF’s primary mission is community-development, with a secondary emphasis on financial return. MSF invests up to $1MM, through debt and equity, in projects in Vermont and near-by states. MSF actively participates in the financial-management of a project, leaving day-to-day project-management to its partner. MSF seeks to liquefy its investment within a five year horizon through refinance or sale.
Potential partners complete MSF’s online application. MSF may request additional information, after which we will contact you with a preliminary decision. MSF works with its partners to structure an investment that meets the objectives of all parties. Following commitment, MSF participates in selection of financial service providers (e.g., accounting, banking). After closing MSF provides financial management services to the partnership focused on budgeting, accounting, tax, and debt management.
